Get ready Baton Rouge, ESPN is about to put the college football spotlight on your city...

After LSU did what they were expected to do against Utah State, and Florida handed the then-ranked-number-7 Auburn Tigers their first loss, this sets up to be a MASSIVE SEC tilt.

Not only will this be a big SEC game, this could potentially be the kind of game needed to secure a second playoff spot for the SEC. If the conference is going to take 50% of the playoff spots, they're going to have to have someone besides Alabama rack up some monster wins. Since this will be a mid-season match-up between two Top 10 teams, whoever wins this this will have a serious resume builder on their side.

The game will be a 7pm local kickoff, with ESPN's College GameDay taking place in the morning, prior to Saturday's early kickoffs.
