Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Searching for Missing Teenage Girl

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help locating a missing 15-year-old girl from the Reddell community just North of Mamou.

Amya Motherspau Missing

KLFY reports that the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 15-year-old girl from the Reddell community just North of Mamou, Louisiana.

Amya Lirisa Motherspau was last seen leaving her home at 2801B Naquin Road Monday, July 24, 2023, at around 7:30 pm.

Amya's cell phone was found in a ditch close to her home and a letter was found in her room saying she was running away.

Amaya is a foster child and previously lived in the Crowley and Rayne area.
