Father Goes Viral Defending His Daughters’ Homecoming Dresses

A Florida father is going viral for defending his daughters and their homecoming attire choices.

After the father posted a photo of himself posing with his daughters, comments on his post raised his eyebrows - and his blood pressure.

As you can imagine, many people appeared to have commented on the photo prior to putting any thought into their comments, and the father lets them have it.

According to Yahoo! News, Matt Austin, the father of the two girls, is a local news anchor and, as it goes with television personalities, he has a lot of followers. It didn't take long for many of them to leave rude comments on the photo he posted, so he took to TikTok to fire back.

What kind of comments was he receiving? According to this video, people were posting messages that ranged from "I wouldn't let them go anywhere dressed like that!" to "So sad that parents think it's okay to send young ladies out with everything showing."

One person commenting even said this: "Those girls are too young to be dressing provocatively - they should have respect for themselves."

Austin took to TikTok to talk about the people sending rude messages and, while he was there, called them out for what they are: victim blamers.

In the video, he calls out the victim blamers and reminds them that it is their job to teach their children to not attack other people.

It's obvious to me that this man not only loves his daughters but that he is also very proud of the young women they have become. Watch the dad's video below.
