Festivals Acadiens et Creoles Celebrates 40 Years

Festival season is here in south Louisiana and one of our favorites celebrates everything we love about our music, food and, art here in Acadiana - Festivals Acadiens et Creoles!

This historic festival will be held October 10-12 in Girard Park in Lafayette and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy! The Festival de Musique Acadienne/Cajun and Zydeco Music Festival, with 6 different stages, Bayou Food Festival and the Louisiana Craft Fair are all part of a wonderful tradition that began in March of 1974 here in Lafayette.
