In today's episode of "As the Businesses Turn," we have news of a flooring store planning to move into the former Burlington on Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette.

The Daily Advertiser reported that Floor & Decor, a flooring retailer based out of Atlanta, is planning to spend around $6.6 million to renovate the building located at 3300 Ambassador Caffery.

Permit records from Lafayette Consolidated Government show that CenterPoint Integrated Solutions, a real estate and engineering firm out of Colorado, was issued the permit for the store remodel.

That remodel will include new doors, paint, lights, and zero entry curbs for the exterior. Meanwhile, inside will see a new vestibule, office space, paint, a new floor slab, lighting, updated HVAC, and a new sprinkler system.

Interestingly, the address for the store was also updated to 3310 Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
