Arista / Seagayle  recording artist Jerrod Niemann has a brand new CD out in stores today, and YOU get a chance to win it before you can even buy it! It's called "Free the Music" and we are happy to see that Acadiana's own Randy Boudreaux wrote a song on it - the second cut on the cd called "Whiskey Kinda Way". Randy also wrote "Alibis" for Tracy Lawrence, and "Brokenheatsville" for Joe Nichols.

The album not only features an array of music that swings from traditional country to tracks with a reggae feel, but also includes a liberal use of horns and unexpected percussive elements. Hey, I'm all about progressing forward in country music....as long as you keep it "country music".

Be listening for your chance to win Jerrod's new cd, featuring his hit song "Shinin' on Me" all day today on 97.3 the Dawg!
