Mom Awesomely Explains Common Core Math

Common core math is still a hot button topic across Louisiana and the entire country. I have spent countless hours trying to help my kids with their homework, all the while trying to hide my frustration. I understand this new way of educating is designed to level the playing field of how kids learn, but as parents it can be maddening because our brains haven't been wired to do math this way. This mom went to a tutoring seminar at her local library to try and get a better handle on common core, and made this fantastic video demonstrating the ridiculous waste of time, I mean the new common core standards for learning and teaching simple math.
