George Zimmerman, the man acquitted of Trayvon Martin's murder, has been in hiding since the end of the famous trial. He's resurfaced.

Word has just come out that last Wednesday afternoon, a family of four was driving their Ford Explorer down a highway in Sanford, Florida. The dad, 52-year-old Mark Gerstle, lost control and the SUV crashed and rolled over.

Mark, along with his wife and two kids, became trapped. Luckily for them, two men came over to help them. One of them happened to be George Zimmerman.

All turned out okay and no one suffered injuries. There's no word if the family was indeed in any danger but smoke was billowing from the vehicle. Zimmerman actually brought a fire extinguisher over in case a fire broke out.

The accident happened less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot Martin.

Apparently, Zimmerman didn't stick around long enough to speak to police.
