Glenne Headly, Star of ‘Dick Tracy,’ Dies At 63
Difficult news for fans of actress Glenne Headly, as the revered star has apparently passed away. The originating Steppenwolf Theatre Company member and Mr. Holland’s Opus star was in the process of filming Hulu’s new series, Future Man.
Per Deadline, the Emmy-nominated actress passed away at age 63 of as-yet-unknown causes. Reps for Headly acknowledged, stating “It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of Glenne Headly. We ask that her family’s privacy be respected in this difficult time.”
In addition to her in-progress work on Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Hulu Future Man, Glenne Headly is well-remembered for turns in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dick Tracy, Mr. Holland’s Opus and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Don Jon, among many others. In recent years, some of her TV credits included HBO’s The Night Of, Parks and Recreation, Psych and more.
