I was watching TV the other day and saw a guy who does art on the back windshields of dusty cars. And people give him good money to do this.

Now, here's another dude making tons off of his artistic abilities on mundane objects.

24-year-old Alex Craig of Dallas, Texas started a business earlier this year where he writes messages on potatoes and mails them to people.

And they pay him for this!

You just go to PotatoParcel.com, tell him what you want the message to be, and who to send the potato to. Then he writes the message with a Sharpie, slaps it in a manila folder and mails it. Boom!

He started it back in May and posted about it on Reddit.com. The idea got a ton of attention because it was so dumb but now he's raking in $10,000 a month.

A medium potato will set you back $7.99 while a large goes for $9.99. Your message can be up to 100 characters on the medium potato, and 140 on the large, and it's sent anonymously.

What a world we live in.
