Hank Williams Jr 2024 Tour Will Make a Stop in Louisiana
Fans of Bocephus, also known as Hank Williams Jr, will get another chance to see the musical legend when he brings his 2024 tour to 13 select cities throughout the South. Fortunately for fans of Hank Jr, the tour will be making a stop in Louisiana.
By the way, this tour is in addition to the Rock the Country series that Hank is a part of. The Rock the Country Tour with Kid Rock will play Gonzales Louisiana April 5-6. Tickets for that show are already on sale.
The tour that was announced on Monday is being called "Hank Williams Jr. - 45 Years of Family Tradition" and besides Hank on stage music fans will be treated to a variety of opening acts and established artists along the way. Among the openers that have been confirmed are Whiskey Myers, Neal McCoy, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Charley Crockett, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, and the Old Crow Medicine Show.
Tickets for the tour are priced from $45 on the low end to $350 on the high end. The tour is being produced by Live Nation and tickets will go on sale later this week. Pre-sales have been announced for December 6 and December 7 with ticket sales to the general public being launched on Friday, December 8 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster in-person locations.
The 74-year-old icon remains quite active and has already played a series of shows this year including a summertime stop at the Wharf in Orange Beach Alabama this past May. The Louisiana stop that has been confirmed on the tour so far is an April 20, 2024 date in Bossier City at the Brookshire Grocery Arena.
Hmm, Hank Jr. in Bossier City on 4/20? Nah, nothing could go wrong there, could it? Unless somebody wants to know "why do you roll smoke", right? As of now, the tour is set to begin April 5th in Birmingham, Alabama. It is scheduled to conclude in Kansas City, Missouri on September 14, 2024.
