One of the most incredible representatives of TRUE country music would have celebrated his 84th birthday today - Mr Bakersfield himself - Buck Owens. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry, and father of 'The Bakersfield Sound' - Buck represented everything we love about country music. That man had twang!!!
