Happy Birthday Dolly Parton

I have been so very blessed in my radio career to talk to some of the biggest names in country music. I have interviewed Ronnie Milsap, Loretta Lynn, The Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys and countless other real country stars. The only star that I have yet to interview that I really really really want to talk with is Dolly Parton.

Dolly is a true American rags to riches story. Many people think of her as just another dumb blonde but she is pure genius under that big wig and eye makeup. Dolly, in addition to being an amazing songwriter and singer is also a savvy business woman and subtle yet very generous philanthropist.

Today is Dolly Parton's birthday, I would say how old she is but a gentleman should never do that to someone who is as much of a lady as Dolly.
