After some very in depth research (I didn't have to look very hard at all), according to CMT.com, December 5th was a day to make things happen in country music. However, there was ONE that really caught my attention.

in 1978, 'The Charlie Daniels Band recorded 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' at Nashville's Woodland Sound Studios.' The best part about this hit is that even today, when that song comes on, everyone is jamming! We all know the words. We may even throw in a little air violin. At least I know I do. (You may laught at me now.)

And don't forget to tun in to Classic Country Saturday Night tomorrow night and EVERY Saturday night, 6pm to midnight for more great country classics!
