Haunted Louisiana
There are many places around Louisiana that are purported to be haunted, and some of them I actually believe are. I mean, you can hardly walk around the French Quarter in New Orleans without feeling a little spooked. But our friends at LouisianaTravel.com have put together a little tour of haunted places around our beautiful state. I guess my #1 choice would have to be the Myrtles Plantation in St Francisville. That place is scary, even in the daylight! Oak Alley Plantation also has a history that makes some skittish, and of course, St Louis Cemetery #1 in New Orleans, where Voodoo Queen Marie LaVeau is supposed to be buried. Check out some of our most haunted places in Louisiana, and if you are feeling brave, visit each one of these locations steeped in history!
