  • The Myrtles Plantation, St Francisville - known as the most haunted house in America. They recently had a fire in the restaurant on the grounds, but you can still take the tour and book an overnight stay.
  • Le Pavillion Hotel, New Orleans - home to over 100 spirits, that have been reported inside this historic building. Rumors say that it is so haunted because it sits on a portal to 'the other side'
  • Andrew Jackson Hotel, New Orleans - located on Royal Street in the French Quarter, this place is supposedly haunted by the ghosts of 5 boys who died in a fire, and still roam the halls
  • The Biscuit Palace, New Orleans - a guest house on Dumaine Street that has a ghost who opens drawers and doors at random
  • Nottoway Plantation, White Castle - the largest antebellum mansion in the United States. Ghost sightings have caused people to check out early because they are frightened of the flickering lights and hands 'touching' them
  • Dauphine Orleans Hotel, New Orleans - haunted by a woman in her wedding dress, and a Confederate soldier in uniform
  • Hotel Bentley, Alexandria - haunted by the spirit of a woman who fell down the elevator shaft and was never recovered
  • Hotel Monteleone, New Orleans - a toddler who died of fever in the 1800's still roams the hallways of this historic French Quarter hotel
  • Oak Alley Plantation, Vacherie - multiple ghostly sightings at this gorgeous and famous plantation along the River Road
  • Omni Royal Orleans Hotel, New Orleans - former slave market on St Louis St
  • Ormand Plantation, Destrehan - built in the 1880's and scene of a slave uprising in which the leader, after being caught, put a curse on the master,and future owners of the home
  • T'Frere's House Bed & Breakfast, Lafayette - haunted by the ghost of Amelie, who fell in a well on the property, and died
  • Woodland Plantation, West Pointe à la Hache - apparitions near the old slave quarters on this property on Hwy 23
