The way to instantly spot someone from out of state is so easy in Louisiana. Just ask them to pronounce Schexnayder. Or Hebert. Or Benoit.

Fortunately for us, the folks at Only in Louisiana have a handy dandy guide on pronunciation that was uploaded by a Reddit user. These are some common names around the state that can be very easily mispronounced, so it's really pretty genius to put a bunch of them together. Some of our favorites are below, but be sure to check out the whole list, y'all! (And make sure you pass this along to all of your non-Louisiana friends).
