Hershey’s and Yuengling Collab on Chocolate Beer
Oh happy day. If you are a beer lover, and a chocolate lover, then this might be the best news you get all year. Hershey's Chocolate and Yuengling Beer are collaborating to bring us what we've always needed, and didn't know it until now. Chocolate beer.
Not only is it great news for beverage lovers, but it's a historic merging of two of the oldest companies in America, and the very first alliance in 190 years for the Pottsville, Pa. beer company. And according to USA Today, it will also be the first time Hershey has ever partnered with a licensed beer product.
The two companies spent about a year working on just the perfect mix, which is traditional Dark Brewed Porter with hints of caramel and chocolate, Hershey's cocoa, syrup, and nibs. The brew is 4.7% alcohol content, which makes it perfect for dessert pairings. Or just to chug because it sounds so delicious, just saying.
Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter will be available mid October in about 22 states, and mainly in bars and restaurants. We're waiting patiently...
