Songs For Teachers

Atlanta-based content creator indeskribeabull, aka Big Tiny, has written what is soon to be the new Nation Anthem for teachers everywhere.

The parody song, titled "When Parents Say 'Not My Child'" is written to Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats".

If you're a teacher, the lyrics to this song certainly illustrates a picture you're all too familiar with.

If you're a parent with kids in school or ever had kids in school, this song certainly illustrates a picture you're all too familiar with as well.

It's just, as parents, we might not want to admit that the lyrics indeskribeabull is singing are...right on the money.

The truth hurts, but if we're being honest with ourselves...the truth can also be hilarious

When Parents Say "Not My Child"

indeskribeabull has hilariously and extremely well crafted her parody lyrics to the tune of Carrie Underwood's smash hit with lines like -

"Right now,

He wants some extra credit

But his grade point average

Is embarrassingly too low...

But you don't know."

The rolling of the eyes to that last line is absolutely perfect.

It's not easy to write a great parody song. It takes intelligence and talent to really pull it off, and clearly, she has both.
