Home Depot's Spooky 2026 Lineup Has Been Revealed

(KMDL-FM) Home Depot has announced its awesome Spooky Season Line-Up for 2026. And if you're a fan of Skelly the 12-foot skeleton, you're going to love what the folks in the orange aprons have in store for you since Halloween is right around the corner.

Okay, it's not- I know Halloween isn't just around the corner; it's three and a half months away but shooting the messenger will not change the message, I know it's way too early to be discussing Halloween, but if we don't do it now, we won't have time to show you the new Christmas Decorations that will be coming out before Labor Day.

Since Halloween is now our number two holiday for decorating, it would make sense that retailers would want to start tempting your imagination with some spooky additions to your Spooky Season line-up. So let's take a look at what's new, what's improved, and what is just so gosh darn cool you're going to want to set it up in your yard this weekend.

First up, we have the Grave & Bones Theme:

This is a 5-foot animated hearse; the skeleton undertaker has a moving jaw and red LED eyes. The skeleton can speak one spooky phrase, and the hearse has illuminated flickering lanterns. The Home Depot price for this addition to your Halloween decor is $399.00

The second new addition in the Grave & Bones Theme from Home Depot is this:

That is an 8.5-foot display called Knight Frostbite. He is animated, has sound, and LED lights. The arms move, the jaw moves, and the skeleton horse's head moves too. The display can also speak 5 spooky phrases to add a little extra shiver to your Halloween shenanigans. The Home Depot price is $399.00

Home Depot's Dead Water Theme Halloween Decorations

Next, we move on to the Dead Water Theme that Home Depot is offering for Halloween fun. Among the new decorations in that category are these:

That is your typical 6.5-foot Dead Fisherman in a Rocking Chair. His mouth moves and his chair rocks. He is motion-activated and can spin 5 tales. He has red LED eyes and shark eyes on his fishing rod. You can have him in your yard for $199.00

Also new in the Dead Water collection at Home Depot is this monsterpiece, er masterpiece:

That is a 5-foot Animated LED Rotwing Parrot. You probably didn't know you need this, but you do. This decoration features an interactive voice system including 20 phrases. You can ask yes or no questions to get unique responses. The head turns, and the mouth moves too. This can be in your yard for Halloween for just $179.00

Home Depot's Wicked Woods Halloween Decorations

Next from Home Depot's Spooky Season collection, we'll draw your attention to the Wicked Woods Theme. In this collection, you'll find this:

That is a 7-foot-tall decaying rabbit. It's called Horrifying Hops, and it is. It features movement, sounds, and LED eyes. It is motion-activated and can emit two horrifying sounds when the motion sensor detects people nearby. This could be scaring trick-or-treat guests at your house for only $199.00.

If a rotting rabbit isn't quite scary enough for you, Home Depot has this:

That is Dry Rot Dennis, and I guess he is a haunted tree or something like that. He stands 9 feet tall and has color-changing LED lights. The details look like real tree bark, so it's pretty authentic-looking. Dry Rot Dennis can be a part of your dying landscape for Halloween for $299.00.

These are just a few of the "What's New" for Halloween collection from Home Depot. I am sure other retailers will be bringing out their Halloween stuff really soon too. I wonder if it will actually be dark for Halloween night, or will the permanent Daylight Saving Time push trick-or-treat times back to almost 8 pm. It could happen; now that's really scary.

Must-Have Halloween Costumes for Louisiana Pets

As pet owners, we spend a good amount of money on Halloween items for our pets, including food, treats, and costumes. One out of every five pet owners will spend over $50 buying a Halloween costume for their furry friends. The National Retail Federation estimates that we will spend $13.1 billion combined on all of Halloween, including decorations, pumpkins, parties, costumes, pet costumes, and candy.

According to the NRF, when it comes to our pets,

"Pets continue to join in on Halloween celebrations, with consumers planning on spending $0.86 billion on costumes for their furry friends."

There are some great Louisiana-themed costumes that can be found. Now, the costumes might not have Louisiana names, but you can use them for fun Halloween ideas.
