It was a busy but wonderful day for Hunter Hayes yesterday. Of course, he got to rock the sold-out Cajundome opening up for Carrie Underwood's Blown Away tour.

Before that, he was serenaded at his hometown of Breaux Bridge as the day was proclaimed "Hunter Hayes Appreciation Day". Many dignitaries were on hand including Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne, Breaux Bridge mayor Jack Dale Delhomme, St. Martin Parish Parish President Guy Cormier and countless others.

If there was a proclamation from a local or state government body, it was awarded to Hunter at the special presentation at Bayou Boudin & Cracklin in Breaux Bridge.

Congrats to Hunter and also his wonderful parents Lynette and Leo for the time they shared with everyone yesterday.

Here are a few pics and videos from yesterday's event and a snapshot or two from Hunter's performance at the Cajundome.
