The 19-year-old wanted in connection with a shooting on I-10 in Acadia Parish is now in custody.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Damarien Lance Simon on Monday. He's facing four counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Simon is accused of shooting into a car near mile marker 72 near Egan and wounding one person. Simon's arrest comes one week after he was featured on an Acadia Crime Stoppers segment on television.

Simon remains in jail on $125,000 bond.
