Incredible Time Lapse Air Traffic [Video]

Gary Allan has a great song called Watching Airplanes. In Gary's song the idea of sitting and watching aircraft is not a pleasant one. For me, watching airplanes has always been a pretty neat pastime.

When I lived in Dallas many years ago our house was on the flight path in to DFW Airport. I spent many an afternoon sitting on my balcony watching the big jets take off and land. This is a time lapse video from San Diego.

Obviously the film maker for this video must share the same love of watching airplanes. His idea, using the time lapse feature, capture every incoming plane into San Diego airport on Black Friday earlier this year. I think it's pretty amazing.
