Individuals Open-Carry in Lafayette [NSFW VIDEO]

In this video posted to social media, armed individuals can be seen walking through the parking lot of a Lafayette hotel.

The hotel is near the intersection of Frem Boustany Drive and Ambassador Caffery.

Jim Hummel, evening news anchor for KATC TV3 also tweeted that they are getting reports of armed individuals in the Downtown area.

Reports of the organization NFAC being in town may explain the presence of these individuals: they are scheduled to hold a rally tomorrow at Parc Sans Souci.

Lafayette Mayor/President Josh Guillory, with Sheriff Mark Garber, held a joint press conference earlier in the week to discuss the rally. Sheriff Garber acknowledged the group has a Constitutional right to hold a rally.
