It’s TurtleGate for Blake Shelton

For anyone who has ever followed Blake Shelton on Twitter  (@blakeshelton) you know it can get a little....unruly at times. And now, Blake has animal rights activists all in an uproar over some recent tweets about a turtle on the road, of all things. Ellen Degeneres, NPR blogger Barbara J King, and someone called @turtlefeed are miffed about something that Blake claims was a joke. One of his Twitter responses was simply "Shut Up". Awesome.
