Hot Mic Picks Up Astros Justin Verlander Hollering NSFW Phrase to Red Sox Manager [VIDEO]

During Tuesday Night's Red Sox/Astros game at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Astros Pitcher Justin Verlander was caught on a hot mic saying an NSFW phrase to Red Sox Manager Alex Cora.

During the second inning Tuesday, Verlander was having trouble with his PitchCom device in his cap. According to the announcers, he was handed a Spanish PitchCom, so you can see how that caused a bit of an issue... With the delay, that did not sit well with Red Sox Manager Alex Cora...

It would appear that Verlander took offense to whatever Alex Cora said, as the broadcast’s hot mics picked up Verlander letting slip a not-so-friendly comment in the direction of the Red Sox’s Manager.

During the broadcast, you can hear Cora state "You shook him off Five times," which would suggest that Cora did not believe that Verlander was having issues with his PitchCom device.

Well, Verlander responded in a not-so-friendly way towards his old Astros Bench Coach "I didn’t shake that at-bat. F--- off, Alex,”

After the game, the media questioned Verlander about the interaction between him and the Red Sox Skipper, here's what Verlander had to say...

"Alex comes out there and starts arguing that I had been shaking. He was trying to say that my PitchCom was working. I'm assuming he thought I was using it as a tactic. I wasn't using it as a tactic. He kind of gestured to me &said something like 'You go pitch'"

Red Sox Manager Alex Cora also gave his side of the story to the media as well...

“The clock ran out,” Cora said. “And we’ve seen this before. I think we’ve been in that place, too, kind of (acting) like the PitchCom doesn’t work. But when you’re shaking off, shaking off, shaking off, what are you shaking off for? Is it the PitchCom? Can you not hear it? I told him he shook off a few times. He said he did not. I said, ‘Just go pitch’ and then he blew me off.”
