You don't see this on the beach very often.

A large amount of marijuana washed up on a Florida beach and it forced authorities to quickly remove it before anyone else could.

This comes just days after we heard the warning that sharks could be digesting cocaine that is floating in the ocean.

The marijuana washed up the shore in Neptune Beach Florida over the weekend and police believe that it broke up while in the water and then ended up here as seen in the photos.

Police did advise people in the area to avoid the beach where the marijuana was found and warned those who thought about scoring some of it to not.

Tractors had to be used by public works to remove the large quantity of marijuana that washed up on shore.

Much of the marijuana was reported rotten by the time it reached the shore.

Here's a report about the findings on the beach.
