Suspect Arrested in Missing Person Case From Ville Platte, Louisiana
It's a story that we've been following for a week out of Ville Platte, Louisiana and now a suspect has been arrested in the missing persons case.
According to KLFY TV-10, Jerry Verrette is a suspect in the missing person case involving Keke Doucet.
The Evangeline Parish mother has been missing for just over a week and now police have one suspect in custody.
Verette is being held in the Evangeline Parish jail on Soliciting for prostitutes charge.
The United Cajun Navy recently joined in on the search for Doucet, along with family and friends, and now they hope that this development in the case will bring the family closure.
The family of KeKe Doucet remains hopeful that they will locate her and return her home safely.
