Naked Christmas Tree Trend Has Many Scratching Head for Holiday Season

(KTDY) - Trends are everywhere these days, thanks to social media, and now one Christmas tree trend has left many confused this holiday season.

For decades, many of us decorated our Christmas trees with lights, ornaments, tinsel, and even candy, but now some are eliminating all of the above.

Some celebrities started this trend on social media for the Christmas season, showing off the tree in their house without any ornaments. Some of the "Naked Christmas Trees" do have lights on them, but that's it, and now many seem to be adopting this trend.

Now, I have to ask: Is less more here, or are people using this latest social media trend to be lazy this holiday season? Are bare Christmas trees really that attractive? I think no, but some seem to think otherwise.

After all, what's the purpose of putting a Christmas tree up in your home or office if you don't decorate it with ornaments? This is one of many trends that I can do without, and I have just blown away by how many people think that this social media trend is worth participating in.

Let's take a look at a "Naked" Christmas Tree this holiday season. And I'll finish with this, I hope that this tends to fade as quickly as it came. We don't need bare Christmas trees in 2026.

For the record, we much prefer these trees in homes for Christmas.
