Scott Rolls Out The Red Carpet For Santa This Holiday Season
(99.9 KTDY) - Nothing conjures up the emotion of pure joy like seeing a child's face light up when they see Santa Claus. The City of Scott is getting an early Christmas present this year as Santa Claus notified city officials he will be paying them a visit on Sunday, December 21!
Why Santa Claus Is Visiting the City of Scott
Santa Claus is a very wise individual, and with this wisdom, he decided the best way that he could thank his elves for all of their hard work this year is by treating them to some boudin in the City of Scott, the Boudin Capitol of the World.

According to the City of Scott Fire Chief, Chad Sonnier, on Wednesday afternoon, Santa Claus contacted them to say he wanted to thank his elves by giving them boudin, so he decided he would be coming to town on Sunday. After all, Santa told Sonnier, these elves have been working diligently all year long making tons of toys, games, and more for the children of the world, and they deserve delicious boudin.
Look for Santa Claus Riding on a Fire Truck
Santa Claus requested and was granted access to a fire truck from the Scott Fire Department for his trip there this Sunday. He will have multiple places to visit while he is aboard the fire truck. Santa is excited to be able to visit with the boys and girls in Scott.
