Louisiana is known for so many things like the outdoors, food, music, and culture. What a lot of people forget about here is that Louisiana is the birthplace of many major celebrities.

Having lived here my whole life, I was unaware that some of my favorite celebrities were born right here in "The Boot."

While we may not get to every celebrity ever born in Louisiana, let's take a look at some that technically call Louisiana home.

So, there you have it. These are just SOME of the celebrities who were born in Louisiana. What would be interesting is to ask each one if they still refer to Louisiana as home.

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
