A mother celebrated her son's success on the football field with him, but it's the type of "hug" that some say is not appropriate.

How we show affection to each other is something that changes with the environment. You may give a longer hug to someone in your family when you are at home. But a mother's hug on a football field has plenty of people commenting.

I'm not making any statement about this situation or then, it seems very strange to me. It seems like if you want to show your love for your child, a big hug without wrapping your legs around your child and jumping on him might be more appropriate.

It's not for me to judge. Here is Khalil Underwood's question, and so It's our question as well, "Is it normal for a Mom to hug her son like this?" Here is what so many people had to say. What do you think?
