A longtime staple in Lafayette’s food scene is preparing to say goodbye. Logan Farms has announced its Lafayette location will officially close on July 31, 2026, marking the end of an era for a business that has been part of countless family meals and celebrations.

The announcement was shared on the company’s Facebook page, urging customers to redeem any outstanding gift cards before the closing date.

The business also built a loyal following through its deli, offering quick lunch options, po-boys, and plate lunches.

Beyond walk-in customers, Logan Farms played a major role in catering and corporate events throughout the Lafayette area.

According to the company’s website, Logan Farms was founded in 1984 and built its reputation on hickory-smoked, spiral-sliced hams prepared with a low salt recipe and signature honey glaze.

Employees And Community Impact

When a business announces it is closing, it is never just about the food. It is also about the people behind the counter.

One employee shared that business has been especially busy since the closure announcement was posted, with many customers stopping in for what could be their final visit. He also noted his own 15-year tenure, while another manager has reportedly been with the company for more than 25 years.
