ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KPEL News) - Children have been waiting all year for Halloween. It's the one night a year that you can dress up in a fancy costume, become someone or something you've always wanted, and eat all the candy you can before your parents cut you off!

Unfortunately, the weather for this year's Halloween festivities is forecast to be less than ideal for door-to-door trick-or-treating. In anticipation of severe weather expected on Halloween, St. Landry Parish officials have moved Trick-or-Treating activities to Wednesday, October 30th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM to ensure a safer experience for all families and participants.
