LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL News) - America's favorite (or should be favorite) travel center, Buc-ee's, has been doing a lot of expanding lately. But as the business grows and gets introduced to more communities in more states, there are some questions that inevitably arise.

Here's what you need to know if you're traveling for the holiday.

Does Buc-ee's Close on Holidays?

The short answer? No! It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. It doesn't close for holidays because they know travel doesn't stop on holidays. In fact, it gets crazier.

That's good news if you're craving Beaver Nuggets or a brisket sandwich as part of your Easter tradition. The travel chain has a lot of fans right here in Louisiana and across the country. Every time we hit the road for a major road trip, whether it's for the holidays, vacation, or just a quick trip, we can always rely on Buc-ee's to provide for our journey.

So Many New Buc-ee's Opening This Year

Folks in as many as nine states now have the chance to stop by Buc-ee's and see what all they have to offer - and they do offer a lot. But the chain is continuing to grow with more cities all over the country slated to see work begin on a travel center near them.

In fact, this year will see Buc-ee's break ground, build, and even complete construction in a dozen locations. It's always a major investment of that requires land, agreements with local governments, and the right location, but once a Buc-ee's is built, you never seem to see one empty.

Buc-ee's is famous for its freshly made snacks, sandwiches, and jerky. They also have a selection of baked goods and a deli with a variety of hot food options, which is unusual for a convenience store. Buc-ee's offers a vast array of products, including snacks, beverages, clothing, gifts, and Texas-themed souvenirs - some of which you can now get locally.

Where Is Buc-ee's Opening Next?
