‘jeep jaunt’ Online Registration Now Open

With the completion of today's 'jeep jaunt' JAM!!, the pre-registration kick-off party, the online registration for the 12th Annual 'jeep jaunt' is now open.

The 'jeep jaunt' is a 35-mile police-escorted ride of Jeeps and 4x4s from Celebrity Theatres in Broussard to Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Charenton. The street-legal ride takes us through the beautiful backroads of Acadiana, along the serene Bayou Teche.

Today's event, held at Sterling Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram in Opelousas, saw over 250 people in attendance for live music, great food, and the chance to be one of the first 300 to register for the event.

The first 300 to register received this year's event shirt for free (shirts are still available for purchase on the registration site). Also, 50 of the registrants were chosen at random to receive this year's "specialty" item: an insulated 'jeep jaunt' bag!

The entertainment was the highlight of the event, though, with Jaryd Lane joining The Voice alum Gabe Broussard and Lane Mack!

Thanks to all of the donors who helped make the 'jeep jaunt' JAM!! a success today: Sterling Jeep, Smokey Hebert's Snap-on Tools, Todd's DJ Entertainment Services, David Hotard, and all of the Jeep clubs in attendance. Lafayette Coca-Cola provided the soft drinks, South-End Country Mart provided the water, Special T Ice provided the ice, and NuNu's Fresh Market provided the hamburgers.
