One of the great things about living in Acadiana is the amazing culture and embracing musical traditions. Plus, there is always something great going on for the entire family to enjoy. You won't want to miss The Jim Croce Tribute which will be held at The Acadiana Center for the Arts.

Bigger Than Life - The Songs of Jim Croce and the Stories Behind Them will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Acadiana Center for the Arts. Don't miss the musical journey through the songs of Jim Croce, one of America's most enduring singer-songwriters. John Reno and his accompanist, Brett Gambino, blend acoustic guitars and vocals to capture the essence of a man whose musical gifts transcend time.

This show features the greatest hits of his tragically short career, from the rollicking “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” and “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim” to his more heartfelt ballads such as "Operator", "Time In A Bottle" and “I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song.” John and Brett cover the Croce catalogue, offering anecdotes about the late performer and the characters who inspired his songs.
