Journey To The Bottom Of The Gulf Of Mexico [Streaming Video]

If you are checking this out between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm Central time you are about to experience something most of us will never see(pending weather conditions). We all know our beloved Gulf of Mexico, a body of water that gives us a delicious bounty of seafood, great beaches for recreation, oil for our cars and trucks and every now and then a hurricane. This is not about the surface of the Gulf, this is about the bottom, the deepest part of the Gulf of Mexico and you are invited to descend to the ocean floor live and have a look around. The project is called OKEANOS Explorer and its mission is to map the ocean floor and gather information on the sea life that calls that part of the Gulf home.
