Jurassic Quest Coming to Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette, Louisiana on May 17-19

The Cajundome announced today that "something big is coming!" And then they proceeded to tell us exactly what it is -- Jurassic Quest on May 17-19, 2024.

Technically, the exhibit will be coming to the Cajundome Convention Center on those dates.

What exactly is "Jurassic Quest?"

According to their website, Jurassic Quest is "the world's largest, most popular Dino event with unique and exciting experiences for the whole family."

Some of the life-size dinosaurs in their herd will include the Apatosaurus, Spinosaurus, and an incredible Tyrannosaurus rex.

Below are the dates and times you will be able to enjoy the exhibit:

• Friday, May 17 -- 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturday, May 18 -- 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Sunday, May 19 -- 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Admission prices range from $19 to $37 (plus fees). It appears there are some "add-on" attractions once inside the event for an additional cost, or you can opt for the all-inclusive "Unlimited Admission" ticket.

Those tickets include admission to the exhibit, with unlimited access to: dinosaur rides, Jurassic Jeeps, fossil dig, and most dinosaur-themed inflatable attractions.
