PASADENA, CA. (KMDL-FM) Breaux Bridge native Justin Sylvester, co-host of E!'s "Daily Pop," received big news today -- he's been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

Hometown Star Receives Daytime Emmy Nod

The 2005 Teurlings Catholic High School alum got the nod in the Outstanding Entertainment News Program category.

Alongside Carissa Culiner and Morgan Stewart, Sylvester helps host the one-hour live television program that "provides a fresh and opinionated take on all things pop culture with a comedic and relatable twist."

From “Ladysitter” to Emmy Nominee

Before joining the E! family, Sylvester got his start on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as Kyle Richards’ “ladysitter.” After appearing on three seasons of the show, he co-starred in ABC Family’s flagship reality show “Beverly Hills Nannies.”

Sylvester has also appeared on national programs including “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” and “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest.”

The 52nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will take place this year on October 17 in Pasadena, California. The broadcast partner for this year's show is still to be determined, as CBS's two-year deal to air the awards ended last year.
