Kellie Pickler Surprises Bruce With a Birthday Phone Call [Audio]

Our dear buddy Bruce Mikells made the big 5-0 today and of course we had to give him a hard time. If you listened this morning to the show you know what I'm talking about.

We had a bunch of friends and family record messages to wish the birthday boy a very special birthday. Those were played back throughout the show and it was a real hoot to listen to on air.

However, the highlight of the morning is when Bruce's favorite young lady called in to wish him a very special happy birthday. Yep, Kellie Pickler herself dialed in to serenade Bruce with a special birthday song! (In case you're wondering, he didn't really have to worry about the restraining order since she called from Nashville.)

After he wiped up the saliva, we let Bruce chat with his gal pal about his birthday celebration and some of the exciting things going on with her like recently shaving her hair for a friend battling cancer to the new music she has coming out soon.
