Lady Antebellum Announces Winner of ‘Own the Prom’ Contest

Lady Antebellum has chosen Henryville High School in Indiana as the winning school for their Own the Prom Night contest. The town was devastated earlier this month by a rash of tornadoes. The faculty and staff of the school banded together to make sure the prom went on as planned for the students.

In a touching move, the winning video entry actually came from students at nearby Silver Creek High School requesting Lady A to play the prom.

Unfortunately, the band can't make it on the night Henryville's prom is scheduled to happen, but they have planned an even bigger event for the students on May 16 in nearby Louisville, KY.  A benefit for Henryville community will take place after that event.
