Lafayette Company Collecting Donations for Oklahoma Tornado Victims
BTI Services in Lafayette will be holding a donation drive to gather supplies for those affected by the devastating tornado in Oklahoma. (BTI has a location in Oklahoma City and many of the company's employees were affected by the storm.)
If you would like to make a donation, you can do so at BTI's Lafayette location which is at 214 Southpark Rd. Collection times will be Wednesday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and continues through Friday. On Saturday, you can drop off from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. No collections on Sunday and Monday but it will begin back again on Tuesday.

Oklahoma Disaster Supply List
Infant formula and diapers (all sizes)
Pet food
Sleeping bag or blankets
Towels and washcloths
Clothing and Shoes.
Feminine supplies
Personal hygiene items: toothpaste,toothbrushes, deodorant, soap.
Household chlorine bleach and cleaning supplies
Laundry detergent
Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties
Paper cups, plates and plastic utensils, paper towels
Can opener
Zip lock bags of assorted sizes
Water
Food (canned or non perishables)
Books, games, puzzles or other activities for children
Battery-powered or hand crank radio or a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and extra batteries for both
Flashlights
Batteries
First aid kit or supplies: bandaids, medical tape, Gauze.
Whistle to signal for help
Dust mask, to help filter contaminated air
Plastic sheeting and duct tape
Plastic Totes or Waterproof, portable containers
