Lafayette Duck Nappers Caught On Video

Last Thursday in the early morning hours someone stole a yellow fourteen foot inflatable duck from the parking lot of Walgreens at the corner of Johnston and N. College. The duck valued at $1,500 belongs to the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana.

This afternoon Lafayette City Police released a screen shot of a surveillance video showing the bright yellow duck being transported in the bed of what looks like a dark four-door Chevrolet Silverado.

If you can identify the owner of the vehicle or know the identities of those involved you're asked to call Lafayette City Police or Crimestoppers at 337-232-TIPS.
