Lafayette Parish School System has announced plans regarding high school graduation. Ceremonies for all public high schools in the parish are set for July 9-11, 2020 at the Cajundome.

According to an update released on the LPSS website, the event will be an in-person commencement ceremony unless it is deemed not safe or is not allowed. If that would be the case, then a virtual ceremony would be held at each high school.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday, July 9, 2020
Northside High School: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Acadiana High School: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Friday, July 10, 2020
Early College Academy: 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Lafayette High School: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Saturday, July 11, 2020
Ovey Comeaux High School: 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Southside High School: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Carencro High School: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Each family of a graduating student will receive four reserved-seating tickets to maintain social distancing between each member of the audience. For those who will not be able to attend, a live stream of each graduation ceremony will be available.
