Lafayette Sheriff’s Office Finds Body of Two-Year-Old in Car

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a two-year-old found in a vehicle.

KATC reports the body of the child was "found in a vehicle on Andres Road off Cameron Street."

Sheriff's spokes woman Valerie Ponseti Brinkley tells KATC -

"The sheriff's office received a call just before 2 pm today and we responded to the 6900 block of cameron st in response to a deceased two year old that was in a vehicle here at this location."

At this time, no other details have been given by law enforcement.
