Lafayette Weather – Rain Begins Tonight And Stays All Week Long

Did you enjoy the sunshine this weekend? Well it might be a while before we string a couple of incredible days like that together again.

Mother Nature is cooking up a good chance of showers by this evening and it looks like we will have a chance of rain in the forecast everyday this week.

Dave Baker, our morning meteorologist from KATC TV 3 says the rain might begin to fall as early as school carpool time but more than likely we won't see any heavy rain on the Power Doppler HD radar until after dark and closer to midnight. Tuesday will hold a slight chance of shower. Wednesday will be cloudy and cool.

Thursday and Friday will see rain chances return to the area. Saturday and Sunday the rain chances will be minimal but the cloud cover will still be in the picture according to the long range outlook.
