Being dismissed from a job is never easy. Some people take losing a job harder than others. Such could be the case of a Lake Charles man who was arrested by Jeff Davis Parish Deputies yesterday.

According to the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Department Facebook Page, Jerome McDougle of Lake Charles allegedly attacked and threatened former co-workers at a construction site on Farm Supply Road in Jennings.

The Sheriff's Department post went on to say that McDougle, who had been terminated from his position, returned to his former job and became violent. According to reports McDougle threatened and attacked his former co-workers with a pipe, a board, and a pair of bolt cutters.

One employee was injured during the attack and was treated by first responders from Acadian Ambulance at the scene. McDougle was booked on four counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated battery.
