Let Me Finish My Beer Before I Go To The Hospital

Authorities found a 30-year-old woman who, after being shot in the eye, refused to accept any medical treatment until after she finished her beer, according to The Winnipeg Free Press. Talk about "One for the Road!"

Although the woman survived, her companion didn't make it. Not quite sure why she felt the need to finish her beverage, but the fact that the boyfriend was dead, and she was gravely injured suggests that the drinking had started WAAAAAY before the shooting incident. At least she didn't drink and drive!
