Local Artist Wanted for Mural at Bottle Art Lofts

Basin Arts, Acadiana Center for the Arts, and Lafayette Consolidated Government are putting out the call looking for a local artist and choreographer for a new mural located at Bottle Art Lofts at 4 Corners in Lafayette.

According to KATC, they're searching for "a visual artist to create a mural, and a choreographer to create a site-specific dance piece."

Bottle Art Lofts is located at Cameron Street and University Avenue.

The mural will be painted on a free-standing outdoor wall at the Bottle Art Lofts.

The deadline to apply is May, 31.

The budget for the art mural is $8,000, and the budget for the outdoor dance project is $2,000.
